Happy Halloween everybody! I thought I would share a new round of favorite hockey-related memes. I also thought with everything going on today, maybe something light or funny is definitely needed.

**Disclaimer--I found these memes on social media (various hockey groups on Facebook, #hockeymemes on IG, etc.) and on internet searches.**

Just waiting for the start of the 2020-21 NHL season....

I wish this meme was a joke...it was announced on Friday (October 30) that the Ontario Sports Minister is banning body checking for the 2020-21 season...

Pretty much how the majority of NHL fans felt upon hearing the news that Doc Emrick from NHL on NBC and NBCSN announced his retirement. 

I don't know who made this, but I found this shortly after Henrik Lundqvist signed a 1-year-deal with the Washington Capitals as a free agent.

I had to laugh at these meme I found on Instagram after Joe Thornton signed with the Maple Leafs

Oh, all the conspiracy theories after the New York Rangers were awarded the 1st overall draft pick in the 2020 NHL draft after having been eliminated in the "play in" round of the playoffs...

I got a good laugh out of this one when the NHL resumed play in the bubbles and no fans were allowed to watch games.

Saint Patrick's Day/March Madness Edition of Hockey memes

Well, it's that time of year known as March Madness. For us hockey fans, it's that time of the hockey season where it's the push for the playoffs. So, here we are at another edition of the favorite hockey memes.

Super Bowl Sunday Edition of Favorite Hockey Memes

Today is Super Bowl Sunday, and with the HOURS of Super Bowl pre-game programming, I thought I would post the Super Bowl edition of hockey memes (as I'm watching the Minnesota Wild play the Vancouver Canucks).

Another round of favorite NHL Memes....

First of all, I would like to say THANK YOU to everybody who has read this blog! It has been an interesting process for me and I'm learning as I go here. I also apologize for not posting anything within the last week and a half, real life has gotten a tad busy for me. 

I will be attending the Minnesota Wild game on Saturday night (11/29) when they take on the St. Louis Blues, so I will have pictures from that game!

On that note, Happy Thanksgiving everybody (and safe travels to those who are traveling)!

Favorite Hockey Memes and e-cards

It IS October and with that, it’s like Christmas for us hockey fans—the 2014-2015 NHL season starts this week. More importantly, the Minnesota Wild season starts on Thursday, October 9. (I can already hear that “Let’s Play Hockey” in my head!)

In honor of the season opener, I thought I would compile my favorite hockey memes and e-cards (I can’t leave those out!) These have been compiled from the internet, Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter.

(FYI--this MAY become a regular thing!)
